Its short list of patented and specialized cleaning products includes the UltraCare Fourguard Carpet and Upholstery Protector and the UltraCare FreshScent Plus+ Carpet Deodorizer. Both the protector and the deodorizer are optional products that you may choose to apply to the top of a finished clean.

Sears implements its own type of carpet and upholstery cleaning method which involves using a pH-balancing fiber rinse to remove dirt, stains and spots from a carpet. Although this type of method does use a portable, truck-mounted system, it has not yet proven itself to be as reliable as the low-moisture and steam-cleaning techniques. Thus, we’ve given this carpet cleaning method a lower rating in comparison to the other two methods.
Sears is the last carpet cleaning service in our lineup and we recommend finding a higher-quality carpet cleaning service unless other options are unavailable. Yes, Sears and its team of carpet cleaners and technicians are professionals that have experience in cleaning carpets as well as other surfaces, but the lack of superior quality in any of our four specific rating criteria makes this option a difficult one to trust.
